One of the best mint teas I have ever had. For about £2 (the mother daaaahling was paying, but I'm sure it was under £2!)
It's when you live off peppermint tea bags (like I do) that you realise fresh mint tea is just a hundred percent improved.
There's a reason Browns of Brockley is rated as one of the top coffee shops in London. Although I didn't partake, the cakes and things to nibble on looked very delicious indeed. Everything is minimalist but quirky. Just, what you can definitely call, "middle class indie cool".
The best thing about this, is it is supporting a local, independent chain. Not a Starbucks, not a Neros, not a Pret. Local, round the corner, and scrumptious. Definitely worth a visit if you have a bit of time to kill before or after catching a train.
