The first time I went was for lunch, and I was (to put it ungraciously) hanging out of my arse. Dead to the world hungover, all you want is just a big, hot, filling meal. And that I had. Both myself and my friend punted for the brunch special:
The second time I went, I got a kind of Mexican style burger thing... Although not classically associated in my mind with Mexican - a burger - it was actually pretty fucking good.
The star of the show were the homemade tortilla and the FANTASTIC chilli salsa dip. Fuck me, that was the best dip I think I have ever had - and that's a bold claim. The chips were a mixture of different types - corn and cactus. Cactus tortilla chips need to be a thing - they were absolutely fucking fabulous.
All in all a very good dinner out, for a tenner. This is what I love about Market Row and Brixton Village - you can get some seriously good food for a really cheap deal. Thank god I live just round the corner.
